📋 Description

• Design, deploy, and maintain secure, scalable, and highly available AWS cloud infrastructure supporting government mission requirements • Work with government leads and Product Owners to understand technical requirements, clarify scope, and confirm release timing • Architect and implement AWS solutions using EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM, CloudFormation, ECS/EKS, and API Gateway • Build and maintain infrastructure as code using CloudFormation, Terraform, or AWS CDK • Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools such as AWS CodePipeline, Jenkins, and GitLab CI • Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting using CloudWatch, CloudTrail, and related tooling • Ensure infrastructure aligns with government governance, auditability, security, and compliance expectations, including FedRAMP, agency ATO requirements, and NIST 800-53 • Configure and manage networking, security groups, encryption, and identity/access controls in accordance with federal security standards • Support integrations between AWS-hosted systems and external platforms, including APIs, middleware, and third-party SaaS • Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure, performance, and deployment issues; document root cause and remediation • Present oral and written briefings to government managers • Produce executive-ready technical summaries and decision-support materials • Perform other job-related duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with preferred study in Computer Science, Information Science, Information Systems Management, Math, Statistics, Operations Research, or Engineering and a minimum of five (5) years of experience • Seven (7) years of related work experience may be substituted for education • Experience designing, deploying, and maintaining AWS cloud infrastructure for federal or public sector clients • Hands-on experience with EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM, CloudFormation, and ECS/EKS • Experience with infrastructure as code using CloudFormation, Terraform, or AWS CDK • Experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines and DevOps automation • Strong understanding of cloud security, networking, and identity/access management in a regulated environment • Experience implementing monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions on AWS • Experience within FedRAMP, ATO, or NIST 800-53 compliance frameworks preferred • AWS certification preferred, such as Solutions Architect, SysOps Administrator, or DevOps Engineer • Salesforce experience, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Public Sector Solutions, or MuleSoft, is a bonus • Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to brief senior government stakeholders • Ability to obtain and maintain a government-required background investigation or security clearance as needed • U.S. Citizenship is required • Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal
