📋 Description

• Serve as the main technical voice for Databricks with 1–5 clients • Lead customers through transformational journeys to evaluate and adopt Databricks • Define and direct technical strategy for large Retail and CPG accounts with the Account Executive • Implement the account's technical strategy • Build a movement of technical champions within customer accounts • Align technical strategies around Databricks solutions • Provide structured mentorship for other team members • Help drive wider and deeper adoption of machine learning and AI use cases

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of experience working with very large (> $1m ARR) Retail and CPG-related enterprises • 4+ years working in a pre-sales capacity or supporting sales activity • Technical expertise in big data, data science, and cloud • Ability in data-driven business transformation and driving change with data • 4+ years of design and implementation experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, NoSQL, MPP, OLTP, and OLAP, or full lifecycle data science solutions • Experience maintaining and extending production data systems for complex customer needs • Production programming experience in Python, R, Scala, or Java • Databricks Certification is nice to have • Must be able to meet applicable U.S. export-control requirements; Databricks may decline applicants if a U.S. government license is needed but unavailable
