📋 Description

• Design, build, and operate scalable Python backend services and REST APIs supporting critical healthcare workflows • Build and maintain cloud-native applications running in Kubernetes using modern DevOps and CI/CD practices • Design reliable integrations with healthcare platforms and third-party APIs • Develop and optimize PostgreSQL databases for high-volume transactional and analytical workloads • Improve platform reliability through observability, monitoring, automation, and performance tuning • Collaborate with Product, Clinical Operations, QA, and engineering teams • Mentor engineers through code reviews, design discussions, and technical leadership • Identify opportunities to use Artificial Intelligence to improve engineering workflows, automate business processes, and enhance products • Continuously improve the engineering platform through automation, tooling, and AI-assisted development practices • Own services through architecture, implementation, deployment, monitoring, optimization, and long-term support

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years of professional software development experience • 5+ years of Python backend development experience • Strong experience developing RESTful APIs and microservices • Extensive experience with PostgreSQL • Experience building and supporting API integrations with third-party platforms • Strong understanding of distributed systems and asynchronous processing • Experience designing, operating, and troubleshooting production systems • Proficiency with Python, Django, REST APIs, JSON/XML, Kubernetes, Azure AKS, Docker, Linux, PostgreSQL, SQL, GitHub, GitHub Actions, CI/CD, Celery, Flower, and DataDog • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, a related field or equivalent experience • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Ability to mentor engineers and explain technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences • Commitment to clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
