📋 Description

• Convert Java microservices to C#/.NET using AI-generated first drafts and finish them according to client coding patterns • Review AI-converted output for correctness, missed edge cases, hallucinated APIs, and behavior drift • Map Java constructs and libraries to .NET equivalents, including Spring to ASP.NET Core, Maven/Gradle to NuGet, and JPA/Hibernate to Entity Framework • Preserve REST endpoints, message formats, error handling, logging, and configuration behavior • Write or port unit and integration tests to prove functional parity • Help develop prompt templates, pattern libraries, and review checklists for scalable conversion • Work directly with client engineers, explain trade-offs, and identify when direct conversion is inappropriate

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years building production Java microservices (Spring Boot or similar) • 5+ years hands-on with C# and .NET Core / .NET 6+ • Experience with ASP.NET Core Web APIs, dependency injection, and async patterns • Real migration experience converting or re-platforming code between languages or frameworks • Experience with microservices and REST • Experience with API design and service-to-service communication • Experience with containerization (Docker) and CI/CD • Comfortable proving parity with automated tests • Ability to work independently and translate technical detail for business stakeholders • Ability to give direct feedback • Familiarity with Java and C#/.NET and ability to translate idioms, not just syntax • Nice to have: AI coding tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude, or ChatGPT • Nice to have: LLM-assisted development workflows, prompt design, output validation, and agentic coding tools • Nice to have: Kubernetes, AWS or Azure, and API gateways such as Kong • Nice to have: MySQL and SQL Server • Nice to have: Python for conversion-pipeline tooling
