📋 Description

• Design, build, and maintain production services at scale • Debug production issues across services and multiple levels of the stack • Develop integrations between Fieldwire and external services and partners • Lead technical architecture discussions and drive technical decisions • Mentor engineers on best practices • Improve engineering standards, tooling, and processes • Release a rapidly growing API while ensuring 100% backward compatibility • Build efficiently auto-scaling services for peak and non-peak loads • Architect end-to-end systems for real-time synchronization of large data volumes

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience • 5+ years of production web application experience • Expertise in modern web application development and relational databases • Ability to write clean, well-tested, modular code • Deep understanding of algorithms and data structures • Experience with Ruby on Rails and its ecosystem • Experience with high-traffic web applications and services • Proficiency with Docker and containerization • Familiarity with AWS
