📋 Description

• Work in a unique environment and technology stack • Deliver new features and improve reliability of core services, including customer intake, application screening, and information dissemination paths • Identify system bottlenecks and business-logic flaws and address them with the team • Own product problems, develop solutions, and validate their impact through data • Work across the technology stack to solve problems independently • Mentor junior developers and contribute to the team's technical growth • Communicate technical decisions and trade-offs to teammates and stakeholders • Contribute to architectural discussions, modernization efforts, and sound engineering practices

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of related experience • Must be a US Citizen • Must be able to obtain and maintain Public Trust 6C • Demonstrated track record of delivering impactful, production-ready software solutions of varying complexity • Experience designing and implementing distributed systems and multi-tier architectures, including storage, caching, and application layers • Experience with microservice architectures and exposure to high-throughput systems • Familiarity with system transformation patterns and modernization efforts • Strong proficiency in at least one modern programming language, such as Java or Python • Understanding of cloud engineering paradigms, asynchronous systems, and service integration patterns • Working knowledge of design patterns, reliability, and scaling principles • Ability to contribute to architectural discussions and system design • Experience mentoring peers or junior developers • Track record of learning and adapting to new technologies, frameworks, and methodologies • Demonstrated use of AI and automation tools to enhance productivity and engineering outcomes • Comfort with ambiguity and new problem domains • Willingness to travel approximately 0–10%
