📋 Description

• Drive System Design output across the team • Design and implement innovative software systems and APIs focused on scalability, security, and performance • Collaborate with Product and Data Science to unlock opportunities and deliver seamless customer experiences • Mentor mid-to-senior-level engineers • Lead efforts to ensure software quality, scalability, and robustness • Lead initiatives that improve efficiency, enhance system performance, and drive customer satisfaction

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of hands-on experience designing, implementing, and maintaining highly available and high-performing distributed systems • Proven track record building public-facing consumer-grade APIs • Experience managing API versioning, deprecation, and consumption-based rate limiting • Experience with Node.js, TypeScript, Kotlin or similar modern backend languages, React, and AWS • Strong grasp of software design principles, scalability, and system architecture • Prioritization of Domain-Driven Design • Deep experience with agentic coding tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, or comparable tools • Understanding of agentic workflows, building a harness, and structuring a codebase for agents • Active daily use of agentic coding tools and a point of view on their appropriate use and team defaults
