📋 Description

• Design, build, and ship end-to-end features across AWS infrastructure, Python and Java backend services, agentic LLM workflows, and Angular frontend • Build and evolve agentic AI workflows on Amazon Bedrock, including tool/function calling, RAG, prompts, validation loops, and fallback strategies • Own Python serverless Lambda services and Java Spring Boot/Quarkus microservices with REST and event-driven APIs, persistence, async pipelines, and message-bus integrations • Manage idempotency, retries, and dead-letter handling • Define and evolve AWS CDK infrastructure across multi-stack deployments with cross-stack references • Maintain backwards-compatible published APIs using shared interface/schema libraries • Develop retrieval and scoring logic using log chunking, embeddings, vector/semantic search in OpenSearch, and relevance ranking • Instrument systems with CloudWatch dashboards, alarms, tracing, and structured diagnostic events • Own CI/CD on Azure DevOps with gated, reversible rollouts • Contribute to shared foundational code with narrow, well-tested changes

🎯 Requirements

• BS degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related field • 10+ years’ experience in a software development capacity with enterprise server, storage or networking products • Modern Python typing, async patterns, data validation, clean error handling, and codebase-scale structure • Deep experience with Spring Boot and/or Quarkus and idiomatic Java • Production AWS serverless and cloud experience across Lambda, ECS Fargate, DynamoDB, S3, SQS, OpenSearch, VPC, VPC Endpoints, API Gateway, EventBridge, IAM, Amazon Bedrock, CloudWatch, SSM Parameter Store, and ECR • JPA/Hibernate, JDBC, transaction management, DynamoDB data modeling, relational database design and query optimization • Production REST services, API versioning, and backwards compatibility • Java virtual threads and concurrency correctness • Microservices and event-driven architecture using NATS.io, Kafka, SQS, or similar • Hands-on LLM/agent development including function calling, prompt design, RAG, embeddings, and output evaluation • Daily use of AI coding agents, spec-driven workflows, and reusable agent skills/powers • Angular/TypeScript frontend development • Unit testing, integration testing, and mocking • Docker, Docker Swarm, and Kubernetes • Git and Azure DevOps pipelines • Blue/green, canary, gated rollout, and rollback deployment strategies • Structured logging, tracing, metrics, secure coding, authentication fundamentals, and operational analytics
