📋 Description

• Coach engineers at multiple levels in best practices for product solutioning • Support and lead all phases of Agile methodology, including grooming, designing, coding, and testing • Focus on outcomes and ensure timely delivery of high-quality, flexible, maintainable solutions • Participate in design sessions and collaborate with product owners to meet business and customer needs • Provide guidance and mentorship on best practices and new technology adoption • Promote good coding practices and patterns • Establish and reinforce standards for coding, design, security, automation, and testing • Foster an engaging, respectful environment that encourages learning and advancement of people, processes, and tooling • Define and commit to bodies of work, breaking them into consumable parts and collaborating with key team members • Drive clarity in technology solutions to deliver customer value

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in the full software development life cycle • Experience with coding standards, code reviews, source control management, automated build processes, testing, peer review, and DevOps • Experience leading development teams responsible for delivering prioritized roadmap items • Experience designing and developing applications and components using J2EE technologies and SOA architecture • Sound knowledge of front-end technologies • Deep experience with service-oriented architecture and API development in a containerized deployment environment • Experience with distributed computing and object-oriented design and analysis • Strong relational database skills using PostgreSQL / Oracle • Strong knowledge of Enterprise Messaging/Integration Patterns • Experience developing XML / JSON-based web services • Experience with Java technologies: JMS, MDB, JPA (Hibernate) • Familiarity with Spring, Hibernate/JPA, JUnit, and Mockito • Experience with high-volume, real-time applications • In-depth experience with Agile/Scrum • Experience with Apache Camel and Apache ActiveMQ • Experience with Java, Bamboo/GIT, open source components, and frameworks • Experience with Test Driven Development and BDD • Nice to have: Spring frameworks, Microservices Architecture, GraphQL, GitHub Actions, Hudson, AI/ML tooling, AWS, EKS, Karpenter, and ArgoCD
