📋 Description

• Serve as a trusted technical advisor to major Enterprise prospects and customers • Drive technical discovery, architecture design, and proof-of-concept implementation throughout the pre-sales lifecycle • Partner with Account Executives and Customer Success Managers to craft technical value propositions • Deliver demonstrations, workshops, and proposals tailored to C-level and technical stakeholders • Cultivate customer trust and credibility, identify technical champions, and act as a strategic advisor • Liaise between customers and internal Product and Engineering teams to relay feedback and influence the product roadmap • Lead cross-regional technical initiatives and enhance SE tools, processes, and frameworks for global scalability • Mentor junior team members and share industry best practices across the SE team • Maintain expert-level knowledge of LaunchDarkly’s platform, integrations, industry trends, and emerging technologies • Respond to RFPs and manage technical environments supporting enterprise sales motions • Translate complex client requirements into scalable, sustainable, technically sound solutions • Represent LaunchDarkly at industry events and customer engagements through travel as needed

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in a solutions engineering, sales engineering, or systems architecture customer-facing role • Experience in areas such as the SDLC, cloud architecture, or DevOps • Extensive knowledge of cloud platforms, with expertise in at least one such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud • Demonstrated excellence in leading and documenting a proof of concept and building technical and deal champions • Excellent communication and presentation skills • Demonstrated history of presenting thought leadership to the broader industry • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience) • Experience with security and compliance frameworks including PII, PCI, or HIPAA is a bonus • 50% travel required
