📋 Description

• Design, build, and maintain the iOS ads layer, including the in-house ads SDK, demand partner and header-bidding integrations, and mediation • Introduce ad formats, placements, and capabilities that grow revenue while protecting startup time, scroll performance, and member experience • Own iOS privacy and consent, including ATT, IDFA handling, SKAdNetwork/AdAttributionKit, and TCF/GPP consent frameworks • Ensure ads behave correctly across regions and user settings • Detect and block bad creatives and diagnose rendering and fill issues • Partner with ad operations to resolve ad-quality problems • Instrument ad requests, impressions, clicks, and revenue signals accurately • Run A/B tests on ad configuration, floors, refresh, placements, and partner mix • Use Claude Code and AI agents to write specifications, generate Swift code and tests, verify results, and review changes • Partner with product, ad operations, data science, and third-party SDK vendor engineering teams • Contribute to architectural decisions, code reviews, and continuous improvement of the iOS codebase • Participate in on-call rotation and incident response for ads and mobile releases • Mentor teammates and help set technical standards • In the first year, ship at least one new iOS ad format or demand integration, improve ad quality or performance, and build an AI-native workflow adopted beyond the team

🎯 Requirements

• 6+ years of iOS engineering experience shipping production apps at consumer scale • At least 1 year of hands-on experience prompting, evaluating, and building with LLMs • Strong proficiency in Swift, SwiftUI, and UIKit • Deep familiarity with Xcode, Swift Concurrency, and Combine • Experience with iOS architecture patterns including MVVM, coordinators, dependency injection, and modularization with SPM or CocoaPods • Experience integrating and debugging third-party SDKs in production • Solid grounding in iOS performance, memory, and crash diagnostics using Instruments, MetricKit, Crashlytics, or equivalent • Experience with CI/CD for iOS, including Fastlane, Xcode Cloud, Buildkite, GitHub Actions, or similar • Hands-on experience with agentic workflows, prompt engineering, context-window management, and MCP/function calling • Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent experience • Ability to use AI coding assistants for substantive tasks and take accountability for AI-generated code • Willingness to stay current with rapidly changing AI tooling • Nice-to-have: ad tech experience with OpenRTB, Prebid Mobile, Google Mobile Ads/GAM, AdMob, or mediation platforms • Nice-to-have: iOS privacy and attribution experience with ATT, SKAdNetwork/AdAttributionKit, Privacy Manifests, and consent management platforms • Nice-to-have: SDK or framework development experience • Nice-to-have: familiarity with ad quality tooling, WKWebView, MRAID, and fill or latency diagnosis • Nice-to-have: experimentation platform experience • Nice-to-have: Android/Kotlin experience or willingness to contribute cross-platform
