📋 Description

• Own positioning, documentation, quickstarts, and samples across LottieFiles’ developer stack • Cover AI generation surfaces and agent integrations, including MCP-style tooling • Ship and maintain the first-run path so developers reach a clear first success without help • Grow open-source and developer presence through READMEs, examples, launch posts, GitHub, package registries, and developer directories • Publish documentation and developer content across package pages, registries, MCP registries, GitHub, and technical communities • Partner with Engineering on APIs, documentation accuracy, and developer experience • File bugs and fix documentation issues directly • Instrument and report developer activation, including documentation usage, first success, and open-source adoption • Champion internal adoption by encouraging LottieFiles engineers to use the company’s developer tools • Help shape strategy, positioning, and messaging and turn them into shipped outputs

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years in developer marketing, developer experience, or product marketing for a developer tool, API, SDK, or open-source project • Portfolio of what you shipped • Able to write code well enough to build samples, read a PR, and fix a broken quickstart • Strong written English for docs, READMEs, launch posts, and technical community writing • Experience launching or growing an open-source project or developer platform • Comfortable working with engineers as a peer • Remote-friendly; preferred overlapping Asia / Europe hours • Bonus: experience in design systems, motion/animation, web graphics, or AI-assisted developer tooling • Bonus: experience with AI developer tools, agent ecosystems, or Model Context Protocol (MCP) • Bonus: developer launches held up on HN, Reddit, or similar developer channels • Interest in measuring activation rather than vanity traffic
