• Design, develop, modify, debug, and evaluate programs for functional or operational areas • Analyze complex business problems and identify automated system solutions • Provide technical expertise in identifying, evaluating, and developing cost-effective systems and procedures that meet user requirements • Analyze existing programs or formulate logic for new systems • Devise logic procedures, prepare flowcharts, perform coding, and test/debug programs • Develop conversion and system implementation plans • Prepare and obtain approval of system and programming documentation • Recommend changes in development, maintenance, and system standards • Configure system settings and options • Plan and execute unit, integration, and acceptance testing • Create system specifications to meet business requirements • Train users in system conversion and implementation when needed • Perform production deployments, maintenance-window testing, and Epic upgrades
• Bachelor's degree in related field, specialized training, or equivalent work experience • Eight (8) years of relevant technical or business work experience • Experience in data warehouse development using SQL, Oracle, Linux/UNIX, IBM DataStage (Infosphere), and/or Java (Spring) • Basic experience with data modeling, including entity relationship and dimensional models • Data profiling and data analysis with SQL • Experience with agile project methodologies including Agile, SCRUM, and Kanban • Extensive experience along the full software development life cycle • Extensive experience applying code management principles • Proficiency in Java with Angular, Spring Boot and UI development desired • Azure cloud experience desired • Strong analytical skills and ability to debug and troubleshoot complex issues in multiple environment settings • Must be a team player • Ability to work some late-night hours for production deployments, testing during maintenance windows, and/or Epic upgrades (overnight from 1am–5am)
