📋 Description

• Lead current and upcoming integrations of the ALS module with various product technologies • Define application design and delivery using a Service Oriented Architecture paradigm • Drive system requirements, specifications, input/output processes, and working parameters using systems engineering best practices • Lead development workstreams for compliant platforms • Perform systems analysis, design, development, integration, enhancement, deployment, and application support • Lead deployment of new modules, upgrades, and fixes • Define, develop, or modify software application modules or enterprise-wide software systems • Implement integration plans and coordinate with testing teams for integration testing • Prepare and present functional design specifications and project process flows • Research, evaluate, recommend, and implement technology aligned with business needs • Plan how new systems will be built and integrated across the IT ecosystem • Install, maintain, and configure infrastructure applications and systems • Create and manage technical specifications throughout the solution lifecycle • Review solutions for alignment with customer objectives, organizational guidelines, benchmarks, and industry best practices • Establish knowledge-management and knowledge-sharing structures, processes, and governance • Create operational artifacts, runbooks, and service-level-agreement documents for Cloud Data Platform services and products • Advise on specialized or unique engineering requirements • Participate in creating complete systems involving clients, servers, network, and databases • Provide technical direction, leadership, coaching, and mentoring to other engineers • Identify design, quality, or operational problems and initiate corrective action • Maintain expertise in network and computer hardware/software interconnection and interfacing • Identify opportunities to mitigate risk and improve performance and functionality • Drive system testing, including evaluation, verification, and validation • Provide technical expertise on current and emerging technologies, trends, and practices

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in application or software development engineering, preferably at the enterprise level with a large financial services organization • Significant experience with Advanced Lending System (ALS) within FIS framework • Significant experience with private, public and hybrid cloud infrastructure, including AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, or Oracle Cloud • Significant experience with big data technologies, including Hadoop or Spark • Significant experience with Agile software development practices, including Scrum, JIRA, peer review, Git, and CI/CD • Significant experience with Microsoft Windows and Unix/Linux server operating systems • Significant experience with modern network-enabled relational databases • Advanced knowledge of Unix and Linux systems • Advanced knowledge of networking protocols, including TCP/IP and HTTP, and standard network architectures • Advanced knowledge of databases, NoSQL systems, storage, and distributed persistence technologies • Advanced knowledge of continuous integration and deployment toolchains, including Git, Jenkins, Maven, RunDeck, Terraform, or Ansible • Advanced knowledge of discipline engineering principles, practices, theories, and methods for solving complex problems • Advanced knowledge of system engineering design methods, including requirements analysis, flowdown, specification derivation, and interface control documentation • Advanced knowledge of end-to-end IT processes, including architecture, design and engineering, implementation, and operations • Significant experience developing scripts or applications to automate systems implementation, configuration, or management • Advanced knowledge of project lifecycles and management methodologies • Significant experience in cloud migration and engineering cloud-centric environments • Significant experience leading systems analysis, design, and architecture efforts • Significant experience with service-oriented and enterprise service system architectures • Demonstrated ability to solve complex system/integration problems through innovative solutions • Advanced troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills • Advanced problem-solving, collaboration, critical-thinking, team-building, and presentation skills • Advanced skill applying innovative approaches to technical design issues • Expert verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience • Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship • Master's degree, mainframe/FIS Systematics/cloud experience, COBOL, CICS, Easytrieve, Assembler, Rexx, JCL, ESP Scheduler, FIS Systematics-to-cloud migration, and banking-industry knowledge are desired qualifications
