📋 Description

• Develop new features with a focus on optimizing performance and efficiency • Collaborate with the team to implement scalable solutions and enhance application performance • Identify and act on opportunities to improve service reliability • Contribute to NRDB, New Relic's proprietary telemetry database technology • Share responsibility for pager rotation and occasional on-call response to system failures

🎯 Requirements

• 2+ years of professional experience in distributed SaaS software development • Proficiency in Java programming • Expertise with algorithms and data structures • Experience building high-throughput software following best practices • Deeper understanding of distributed systems and their core challenges • Experience using the command line to manage, investigate, and fix issues • Experience with databases such as MySQL, Postgres, DynamoDB, Redis, or MongoDB • Familiarity with public cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, or GCP • Familiarity with Kubernetes or Docker • Understanding of Computer Science fundamentals • Visa sponsorship is not available for this position • Ability to pass employment eligibility verification and a required criminal background check
