📋 Description

• Build and own testing infrastructure and test coverage for two active C++ development projects • Contribute to feature development for systems-level software projects • Define and enforce endpoint behavior across managed environments • Develop foundational controls that enable IT teams to define, enforce, and maintain endpoint security posture • Work on tools used by IT teams and managed service providers to monitor, manage, and secure endpoints at scale • Collaborate in a curious, evolving technical environment and adapt workflows to incorporate AI tools

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related technical field • 1–3 years of C++ experience • Solid C++ fundamentals, including memory management, RAII, STL, smart pointers, and build systems • CMake preferred • Interest in systems-level software, including OS APIs, processes, file systems, and services • Experience writing or maintaining automated tests in C++ using Google Test, Catch2, CTest, or equivalent • Comfortable asking questions and working where some answers are still being discovered • Comfortable adapting workflows to incorporate AI tools • Strong learning orientation and ability to ramp on new systems, APIs, and patterns • Preferred: Windows systems programming exposure, Windows APIs, WINAPI, WinBase, Registry access, and process management • Preferred: Familiarity with CMake and vcpkg build environments • Preferred: Experience with mocking or dependency-injection test frameworks such as Google Mock • Preferred: Cross-platform C++ exposure • Preferred: Background in or genuine interest in security software • Preferred: Exposure to CTest or structured CI test pipelines • Must reside in an eligible U.S. state • Position is not eligible for visa sponsorship
