📋 Description

• Lead the architecture and evolution of business-critical platform services across multiple teams and products • Design resilient, scalable systems aligned with long-term platform strategy, interoperability, and organizational impact • Anticipate operational risks and build safeguards before issues reach production • Assess engineering investments using data and outcomes and adjust direction accordingly • Guide technical transitions, platform modernizations, and migration programs while minimizing disruption • Produce architectural guidance, technical standards, and reference designs • Establish operational, reliability, security, and AI governance standards • Mentor and influence engineers across teams • Drive responsible adoption of AI-enabled engineering approaches • Improve platform reliability, innovation, engineering standards, and value for partners, vendors, and customers

🎯 Requirements

• Substantial experience designing and evolving large-scale distributed systems • Advanced expertise in software architecture and systems design • Proven ability to evaluate technical trade-offs involving scalability, reliability, cost, latency, and maintainability • Experience designing platforms and services supporting multiple teams and business functions • Extensive experience identifying and mitigating systemic risks • Strong technical communication skills and experience creating architectural documentation and engineering standards • Ability to drive technical alignment across multiple stakeholder groups • Deep understanding of AI capabilities, limitations, governance, and responsible implementation • Advanced proficiency using AI-powered tools for software development while maintaining quality and security • Experience reviewing, validating, and governing AI-assisted engineering solutions • Strong understanding of platform reliability, observability, security, and operational excellence • Experience leading large-scale modernization initiatives and technical migrations • Knowledge of agentic workflows, orchestration patterns, and AI-native software development • Demonstrated success improving engineering effectiveness through automation and intelligent systems • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience • Valid right to work in United States • Successful candidates must complete pre-employment ID verification, reference requests, and qualification checks
