📋 Description
• Develop, enhance, and validate thermal and electrochemical models for battery system design and performance assessment • Apply MATLAB for model development, simulation, and analysis • Support modeling activities involving multi-physics interactions within NiZn, Lead-Acid, and Lithium battery systems • Assist with developing complex thermal and electrochemical models
🎯 Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related scientific discipline and nine (9) years of experience; alternatively, Master's degree and seven (7) years, or PhD and four (4) years • Experience with thermal modeling • Proficiency in MATLAB • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Ability to work effectively in a team-based, technical environment • Must be able to obtain a Secret security clearance; may start once interim clearance is granted • Preferred: experience in electrical and chemical modeling • Preferred: familiarity with ANSYS thermal modeling tools
