📋 Description

• Support mission-critical government projects in partnership with New York State of Health • Contribute to software development, testability, and automation strategies for Java-based enterprise applications • Collaborate with Development and QA teams • Contribute to application code and improve application testability • Implement automation strategies supporting continuous integration and continuous delivery • Design and develop Selenium-with-Java test automation frameworks and scripts • Analyze and write automation scripts for complex business rules and rules engines • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions • Develop and test RESTful Web Services • Work with JSON and XML • Perform API testing using Postman or REST Assured • Apply relational database, SQL, and database validation techniques • Write simple and complex SQL queries, preferably using DB2 SQL syntax, including PL/SQL • Support large-scale enterprise applications with high availability and complex integrations

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or Engineering • 5–8 years of experience in software development or SDET roles within Java-based enterprise applications • Minimum 1 year of experience supporting large-scale enterprise applications with high availability and complex integrations • Strong experience with Core Java/J2EE, Spring Framework, Hibernate/JPA, Maven/Gradle, and JUnit/TestNG • Experience designing and developing Selenium-with-Java test automation frameworks and scripts • Experience analyzing and writing automation scripts for complex business rules and rules engines • Experience developing and testing RESTful Web Services and working with JSON/XML • Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions • Knowledge of database concepts, including DB2, EDI 834 and 837, SOAP UI, Rational Quality Manager, Agile methodologies, AccelQ, and UI Path • Ability to work effectively with Development and QA teams • Understanding of Postman or REST Assured • Strong understanding of relational databases, SQL, and database validation techniques • Ability to write simple and complex SQL queries, preferably with DB2 SQL syntax, including PL/SQL • Healthcare, Medicaid, or Health Exchange experience preferred • Experience with Angular or other modern JavaScript frameworks preferred • Experience building automation frameworks from the ground up preferred • Mobile testing experience preferred • Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes preferred • Experience with Azure or AWS preferred • Familiarity with performance and security testing preferred • Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills
