📋 Description

• Lead the technical lifecycle of complex, integrated enterprise systems, including cloud-based and vendor-hosted applications, interfaces, databases, utilities, and related technology services • Partner with functional users, business process owners, IT colleagues, and vendors to gather, analyze, document, and validate business, system, workflow, data, reporting, and integration requirements • Design, configure, implement, and maintain system components including workflows, business rules, routing, notifications, forms/documents, calculated fields, user interfaces, and related functionality • Develop, modify, test, and maintain program code, scripts, queries, data transformations, and other technical components • Provide technical guidance to functional users regarding reporting, dashboards, data extracts, and analytics needs • Analyze requirements and recommend appropriate reporting solutions • Ensure data privacy and security of assigned systems • Support assigned systems to minimize downtime and loss of productivity and service • Coordinate with business users and vendors on latest releases and ensure critical patches are applied • Develop and support Workday integrations using Workday Cloud, Workday Studio, Cloud Connectors, Enterprise Interface Builder, Web Services, and REST APIs • Track, update, and communicate task status according to departmental procedures • Perform other assigned duties • Receive direction from the Enterprise Systems Manager

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience • 5 years of progressively responsible experience supporting the full lifecycle of enterprise applications in a production environment • 5 years of experience with relational and document-based database systems programming, associated technical documentation and production support • Knowledge of enterprise application architecture, systems analysis, software development, systems integration, databases, reporting, testing, change control, and production support • Knowledge of data privacy, information security, role-based access, data quality, and appropriate handling of confidential institutional information • Knowledge of Workday, Banner, DegreeWorks, Regent Education, Faculty Information Systems, Salesforce, or comparable higher-education enterprise applications • Skill in analyzing business, workflow, reporting, data, and integration needs and translating them into secure, reliable, and maintainable technical solutions • Skill in configuring, developing, testing, troubleshooting, and supporting enterprise applications, integrations, reports, data extracts, databases, scripts, queries, and related technical components • Skill in technical documentation and using versioning and other common development tool sets such as Bitbucket, GIT, etc. • Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities and deadlines • Ability to communicate effectively with functional users, IT colleagues, leadership and vendors and provide technical leadership and guidance • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and exercise sound judgment when handling sensitive information • Preferred: Experience with Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or comparable platforms • Preferred: Workday integration experience, including Workday Studio, Enterprise Interface Builder, web services, REST APIs, and secure file transfer protocols • Preferred: Workday Pro certification or other relevant Workday technical certification • Preferred: Experience with Java, JavaScript, C#, SQL, PL/SQL, XML, XSLT, HTML, Angular, PHP, Ruby on Rails, SOAP, REST, JSON, or comparable technologies • Must reside in one of the approved states: Alabama, Arizona, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Minnesota, Nevada, New Hampshire, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, Wisconsin
