📋 Description

• Lead a new team delivering Unity platform support for a key platform partner bringing games to TV and mobile form factors • Deliver stable platform support • Realize developer workflows for Unity users to unlock unique platform features • Lead optimization initiatives to enable Unity to be efficient across a wide array of target devices • Own and drive near-term execution and technical strategy for the team • Collaborate internally with other core Unity engineering and graphics teams • Communicate the team’s vision and progress internally and externally • Foster a high-performance, supportive culture through mentoring and coaching • Actively guide team members’ professional development and career growth

🎯 Requirements

• Experience developing and managing a high-performance software engineering team • Proven technical knowledge in desktop/mobile/web platform technology stacks using platform APIs to build native applications • Demonstrated success collaborating with internal Product owners and external partners to achieve alignment on technical specifications and interdependencies • Expertise as a software engineer • Working familiarity with C++, C# and JavaScript • Ability to assimilate and understand a large and complex software product • Familiarity with real time 3D rendering techniques and graphics APIs including Vulkan and/or WebGPU (optional) • A methodical approach to prioritizing and developing innovative optimization solutions (optional) • A passion for the future of computer games or real-time 3D experiences (optional) • Expertise leading remote teams using Agile development methodologies (optional) • Familiarity with when and how to best use AI in the software development process (optional) • Sufficient knowledge of English for professional verbal and written exchanges
