📋 Description

• Own core HiveRx platform development for regulated compounding pharmacy environments • Contribute to core platform work and patient/prescriber portal development • Build full-stack features across Laravel, Vue, Inertia, Tailwind, and the existing platform architecture • Prevent platform and portal work from stalling due to single-person dependency • Maintain architectural consistency across internal and external product surfaces • Participate in QA, release planning, and post-release validation • Translate business needs, portal concepts, and regulatory requirements into implementation plans • Research workflows, compliance constraints, integration behavior, and user experience requirements • Improve technical specifications and identify gaps in handoffs, acceptance criteria, dependencies, or release planning • Work directly with stakeholders to clarify requirements • Support features involving pharmacy workflows, compliance-heavy operations, ERP-adjacent needs, and business-system integration • Build secure, polished, and operationally correct patient and prescriber portal workflows • Assess effects of internal workflow changes on external users, data, reporting, and operational queues • Contribute to technical, user-facing, and compliance-relevant documentation • Maintain product momentum without introducing long-term complexity

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required • Minimum of 5–8 years of experience in software engineering, product engineering, or a related technical role • Demonstrated experience designing, developing, testing, and maintaining scalable software applications • Proven ability to lead technical initiatives, solve complex engineering challenges, and deliver high-quality solutions • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams in an Agile or similar development environment • Strong proficiency in the programming languages, frameworks, and technologies required for the role • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred • Strong command of PHP and Laravel; ability to read, debug, and write production code in a real codebase • Comfortable with Vue 3, Inertia.js, Tailwind CSS, and Vite-based frontend tooling • Able to move between backend services, frontend workflows, database state, integrations, and release validation • Experience working in or building software for regulated industries, preferably healthcare • Understanding of compliance considerations affecting software design, including audit trails, data integrity, access control, PHI, and change documentation • Comfortable using AI tools for research, code review, implementation support, and documentation • Ability to critically evaluate AI-generated code and documentation • Strong technical writing skills • Ability to communicate clearly with engineers and non-technical stakeholders • Senior ownership mentality, practical execution, context-switching, and sound judgment • Ability to sit for extended periods • Effective communication via telephone and email • Ability to lift forty (40) pounds and move, lift, or carry boxes • Fine motor skills and visual acuity • Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.; employment visa sponsorship is unavailable
