• Outreach to new prospects to initiate the sales process and build excitement around the product and the brand • Drives sales volume via outbound cold calls, lead generation and converting inbound leads • Initiate sales activity via phone, text, and email - including outbound & inbound calls, demo meetings, and various forms of email communication • Consult with prospective clients by addressing their questions and needs to identify the proper Porter solution • Set up meetings between (prospective) customers and sales executives • Establish business relationships with prospective customers to generate new business • Utilize Hubspot and Apollo to manage day-to-day activities • Demonstrate focused daily activity around calls and email metrics, and consistently achieve monthly and quarterly quota goals • Identify advantages and key differentiators compared to competitors within our market • Keep abreast of all product updates, including software and application updates and releases, new partner offerings, market conditions, and competitor activities, i.e. updates to competitor software or new competitors in our core verticals • Participate in trade shows and conventions as required
• 1-3 years of sales development experience with a preference for candidates who have successfully sold to SMB's or within the beauty / self-care space • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Technical aptitude with a strong understanding of SaaS • Organizational and time-management skills • Passionate about tattoos, with exposure to the tattoo industry either as an artist or customer • Comfort in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment
