Description
• Lead and mentor a fast-growing team of Commercial account executives • Work closely with the Vice President of Sales to add new sales opportunities • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve targets • Build and maintain strong customer relationships • Partner with marketing and product teams • Negotiate contracts, close agreements, lead regional sales team • Understand competitive market landscape • Represent Kong at industry events and conferences • Provide sales forecasting, recruit and onboard new hires
Requirements
• Minimum of 10 years sales experience in technology sector • Strong understanding of API management space, cloud services, and broader technology landscape • Experience building and leading high-performance sales teams • Experience selling SaaS solutions in field sales capacity • Ability to forecast and manage pipelines effectively • Cross-functional collaboration skills • Strong verbal and written communication skills
