📋 Description

• Collect tactical knowledge about bottlenecks and critical needs • Devise and implement rapid solutions • Design and develop business logic, process models/flows, and UI screens for BPM-based systems • Work with Business Analysts to investigate customer requirements, prototype solutions, and validate user-story acceptance criteria • Coordinate with team members on fixes, unit testing, and configuration management • Support operational patch build processes • Develop SQL, update data models, and implement database best practices including indexes and triggers • Manage daily work in Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, and Bamboo • Coordinate with DevOps team members for timely and reliable customer releases • Maintain data integrity, security, and best-practice standards • Prepare and maintain SDLC application documentation

🎯 Requirements

• Appian software development experience • Current Appian credentials as Designer or Developer preferred • Experience with BPM platforms such as Appian, JBoss BPMS, Activiti, Oracle or IBM BPM, or Pega • Experience with Splunk • Knowledge of Appian software design, web development, and design languages • Hands-on experience with Agile software development methodologies • Experience supporting production environments • Proficiency with Git and awareness of Git branching strategies • Familiarity with Oracle • CSSLP or equivalent certification preferred, or ability to obtain after hire • Ability to attain a Federal Government Position of Trust • Must be a U.S. citizen or Green Card holder • Must pass a background investigation • Must maintain DoD 8570 IAT II certification • Must hold one of CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, CND, or SSCP at hire, or obtain one within 6 months of start date • Understanding of Docker, OpenShift, Kubernetes, or other containerization platforms • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Customer-service orientation • Adaptability, dependability, and independence • Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills • Self-management and prioritization skills • Experience with Appian add-on tools such as Expression Unit Tests, Deployment Automation Manager, FitNesse, SAIL UI, and Smart Services • Appian 7.x/20.x version design and implementation experience • Ability to translate software requirements specifications into Appian applications and prototypes • Willingness to participate in a coding challenge as part of the technical interview
