📋 Description

• Provide architectural leadership and guidance within the assigned business area • Translate business strategy, Architecture Vision, and Architecture Runway into solutions, architectures, and implementable features • Drive the technology vision and evaluate new technologies and external products • Incorpor enterprise Architecture Runway components into incremental development plans • Establish and maintain technology standards and drive technical designs to consensus and approval • Participate in the Enterprise Architecture Community of Practice to support enterprise architecture, governance, and roadmap evolution • Lead architecture, technology vision, and implementation while mentoring developers • Manage personnel responsibilities for direct reports as a player/coach, when applicable • Analyze technology industry and market trends and assess their impact on the business • Align architecture vision and runway with business strategies and portfolios • Collaborate with team members to determine software best practices and requirements • Support development teams in adopting and understanding technology • Complete performance-plan responsibilities, special projects, and assigned duties • Work with global teams and participate in calls across international time zones • Travel internationally up to 25% when required

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience • 8+ years of experience in application/solution, technical/infrastructure, or information/data architecture • 1 year directly leading architecture and software design for one or more teams • Hands-on experience with greenfield development and refactoring/rewriting aging applications • Experience working in an Agile model, preferably SAFe • Experience with CI/CD practices • Experience using open-source technologies in an enterprise environment • Experience with multiple, diverse technologies and processing environments • Prefer experience with microservices, containerization, and virtual machines • Ability to rapidly comprehend new technologies • Ability to balance long-term and short-term implications of decisions • Ability to translate business needs into architecture requirements • Ability to explain advanced technical topics to technical and non-technical staff • Ability to estimate the financial impact of architecture alternatives • Strong problem-solving, critical-thinking, analytical, and technical skills • Excellent written and verbal communication, planning, and organizational skills • Strong leadership, teamwork, facilitation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills • Ability to handle confidential information professionally • Ability to work independently and in a team environment • Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize, and meet deadlines • Flexibility to participate in international work processes and calls across global time zones • Must be eligible to travel internationally if required • Must be able to work remotely from a dedicated, secure work area with reliable high-speed internet • Must be able to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation
