📋 Description

• Design, build, and own integrations linking the platform to ERP and accounting systems such as NetSuite, QuickBooks, Sage, and Microsoft Dynamics • Build and improve REST and SOAP integrations for complex customer environments • Design synchronization, mapping, validation, and reconciliation workflows • Handle partial failures, retries, eventual consistency, idempotency, and audit trails • Improve integration performance and reliability • Add logging and alerting and identify root causes of integration failures • Collaborate with onboarding and support teams to connect customers and launch them successfully • Contribute to code reviews, documentation, and engineering standards • Work closely with a Staff Engineer from scoping through production • Use AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, and GitHub Copilot

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering experience with production systems • Strong C# and .NET, including backend services and APIs • Proven experience integrating with ERP, accounting, or financial systems • Solid knowledge of REST and SOAP, including authentication, error handling, retries, and versioning • Experience with data synchronization, transformation, and reconciliation • Strong SQL Server skills, including query design, optimization, and data modeling • Experience with event-driven or message-based architectures • Independence and clear communication with engineers and non-technical stakeholders • Bonus: hands-on NetSuite, QuickBooks, Sage, or Microsoft Dynamics integration work • Bonus: background in fintech, payments, accounts payable, or fund administration • Bonus: Azure experience, including Service Bus, Functions, or API Management • Bonus: SFTP, EDI, or file-based integration patterns • Bonus: Python for scripting and tooling • Bonus: multi-tenant SaaS experience • Bonus: observability practices such as structured logging and tracing • Bonus: daily use of AI coding tools
