📋 Description

• Design, develop, test, and maintain React and Next.js features for assigned application areas • Build Server and Client Components, forms, grids, and document viewers using the team’s component library • Integrate features with backend-for-frontend endpoints and platform APIs • Write component and end-to-end tests using Vitest, React Testing Library, and Playwright • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to translate requirements into technical specifications • Contribute to system enhancements and implementation • Build accessible components meeting WCAG 2.1/2.2 AA and Section 508 • Participate in code reviews and continuously improve development skills • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues and bugs • Improve development processes, tools, and AI-enabled workflows • Evaluate and validate AI-generated outputs for correctness, security, maintainability, compliance, and business appropriateness • Follow policies for AI usage, intellectual property, security, privacy, PHI handling, and Responsible AI • Handle patient data safely under HIPAA • Participate in peer reviews and validation processes for AI-assisted solutions

🎯 Requirements

• 2+ years of professional software development experience building web applications with React and TypeScript • Working knowledge of Next.js or another server rendered React framework • Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern React patterns, such as hooks, state management, and component composition • Familiarity with REST APIs and asynchronous data fetching, including streaming responses • Working knowledge of web accessibility (WCAG 2.1/2.2 AA) and semantic HTML • Familiarity with Vitest or Jest, React Testing Library, and Playwright • Familiarity with Git-based version control, pull requests, and CI/CD using GitHub Actions • Regular use of AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a globally distributed team • Strong communication skills, openness to feedback, and ability to articulate technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience • Must complete identity verification, comprehensive background check, and in-person I-9 verification • May be subject to drug screening prior to employment • High speed internet over 10 Mbps at home • Final interviews may require onsite attendance • AI tools are prohibited during interviews
