📋 Description

• Own core products including prior authorization pipelines, Epic integrations, and AI agents handling patient calls and texts • Make architectural decisions and write substantial production code • Build and operate production agentic systems in a regulated healthcare environment • Develop automated workflows, LLM-assisted QA, RAG, function calling, and evaluation systems • Design systems spanning Epic integration, prior authorization pipelines, and patient communications infrastructure • Establish engineering patterns, review culture, and quality standards through code and reviews • Plan roadmaps tied to product milestones and manage cross-team dependencies • Ship software that solves pharmacy users’ problems • Anticipate problems by understanding how products connect with the broader platform • Collaborate with pharmacists, pharmacy partners, enterprise health systems, and engineering teams

🎯 Requirements

• Experience owning a product and making decisions that shaped it • Track record of building complex systems from scratch • Ability to explain specific technical decisions and their rationale • Hands-on software engineering approach • Ability to zoom out and understand system-wide product context • High agency and ability to work without perfectly scoped tickets • Comfort with ambiguity and rapid change • Daily use of AI tools; familiarity with Claude and Cursor • Must be based in US Eastern or Central time • Must be based in the United States • Ability to work on production systems in a regulated healthcare environment
