📋 Description

• Develop software system testing procedures, programming, and documentation • Provide input for documentation of new or existing programs • Design, develop, troubleshoot, and analyze software programs • Customize software based on research and customer needs • Coordinate with other departments and commercial vendors to investigate and resolve significant software matters • Attend meetings and communicate with management and customers about software development status and problems • Serve as a knowledgeable technical lead on large projects involving specific software packages • Provide first-level on-call support to customers • Support production issue resolution

🎯 Requirements

• 6 or more years of Software Engineering or Operating Systems Programming experience • Experience with Unix, C, scripts, SQL, and web servers • Software design and coding experience • Experience with source code debuggers • Strong SQL query writing and data analysis skills for troubleshooting and validation • Comfortable supporting production issues, defect analysis, data investigation, and end-to-end testing • On-call support is required • Willingness to work a flexible schedule to accommodate business needs and travel as required • COBOL and Mainframe knowledge is a plus • Git and GitHub.com experience is a plus
