📋 Description

• Develop, maintain, and support PACER account registration and management, authentication, billing, and Case Locator products • Develop, maintain, and support internal PACER account, help desk, and court access reporting systems • Monitor compliance with PCI and other security standards through secure development practices • Gather requirements; design, analyze, develop, test, deploy, support, and maintain systems across the SDLC • Develop enterprise software using C, Java, JSF, PrimeFaces, JavaScript, CSS, and/or Linux shell • Develop secure web services using SOAP, REST, WSDL, XSD, XML, and/or JSON • Design and create efficient, scalable, and resilient software solutions independently and collaboratively • Create and document use cases, test cases, and system validation results • Participate in Agile planning, retrospectives, demos, and stand-ups • Review and validate requirements, system descriptions, and design artifacts; prepare documentation packages • Analyze project documentation and modification requests for impact and feasibility • Define, document, and maintain system and software architectures aligned with enterprise standards • Implement secure engineering, vulnerability remediation, ATO, PCI, and FISMA compliance activities • Conduct performance analysis, capacity planning, and system tuning • Design and test continuity of operations and disaster recovery capabilities • Manage software configurations, version control, source repositories, and change control • Provide knowledge transfer, training, and documentation for Technical Points of Contact • Evaluate and recommend emerging technologies, frameworks, and tools

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in IT system engineering, systems development, systems coding and programming • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or related field • Comprehensive knowledge of security compliance and security controls • Proficient in C, Java, JSF, Tomcat, PrimeFaces, JavaScript, CSS, and/or Linux shell • Strong experience implementing and supporting end-to-end automated DevSecOps pipelines and processes • Strong experience with RedHat Linux • Strong experience with Cloud APIs and Cloud technologies, including programming experience • Strong experience providing engineering support for software applications across the full DevOps pipeline • Ability to adapt to different enterprise security requirements • Experience with Jira, Confluence, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Bash, Subversion, and JetBrains Tool Suite • Experience developing and managing CI/CD pipelines for a wide variety of applications • Experience implementing DevSecOps using Jenkins, GitLab, or similar tools • Experience developing, testing, and maintaining containerized applications • Working knowledge of source version control, build/release tools and methodologies, and CI/CD pipelines • Working knowledge of software build processes • Strong security-first mindset • In-depth knowledge of Agile methodologies • Excellent presentation and communication skills • Consultant mindset and ability to work with high-level customer stakeholders • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Preferred: Perl • No security clearance currently required • No US citizenship required
