📋 Description

• Own meaningful product and technical initiatives from design and scoping through implementation, launch, and iteration • Build reliable, maintainable systems for real-time scheduling, client booking, marketing automation, and professional business tools • Partner with Product and Design to understand customer problems, evaluate tradeoffs, and develop technical solutions • Contribute to technical design and architecture while balancing scalability, maintainability, performance, and delivery speed • Build across the platform using frontend, backend, or end-to-end expertise • Own software quality through testing, code review, observability, and ongoing production support • Collaborate with and mentor engineers through code reviews, technical discussions, and knowledge sharing • Improve software development and delivery, including thoughtful use of AI-assisted development tools

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience building and operating production applications • Strong software engineering fundamentals • Ability to design clean, maintainable solutions to complex problems • Track record of independently taking meaningful features or technical initiatives from definition through production • Experience partnering closely with Product and Design to understand customer needs and develop effective technical solutions • Ability to recognize reusable patterns and solve classes of problems • Ability to evaluate tradeoffs, make sound engineering decisions, and communicate the reasoning behind them • History of effective collaboration with engineers and cross-functional partners • Experience contributing to the growth of other engineers • Eagerness to learn unfamiliar technologies and solve new problems • Prior Elixir experience is not required • Experience with all listed technologies is not required
