📋 Description

• Manage large geotechnical projects for major clients. • Collaborate with local engineers, subject-matter experts, and National Account Managers across the office network. • Support resource management, scheduling, and budgeting within the PMO. • Ask questions to learn clients’ approaches to site selection, design, and construction. • Work with the CE&D team to discover, develop, and deploy innovative ways to get work done. • Prepare proposals and cost estimates; track project progress and budgets; recommend changes. • Assist in geotechnical field exploration using standard and innovative tools. • Assign, review, and evaluate laboratory and field data for site characterization. • Perform geotechnical engineering analysis, calculations, and recommendations. • Design and develop plans and specifications. • Write, prepare, and review related service reports. • Review drawings and collaborate with construction teams to assure compliance with plans and specifications. • Observe and inspect construction. • Research and resolve design and construction problems. • Communicate complex engineering issues and concepts to technical and non-technical clients and project teams.

🎯 Requirements

• BS or MS in Civil/Geotechnical Engineering; PE license preferred. • Minimum 5 years experience managing geotechnical projects for large infrastructure clients. • Proven program-management skills with ability to handle multiple concurrent projects. • Strong knowledge of geotechnical investigation methods and data interpretation. • Excellent communication and client-facing abilities. • Ability to travel nationwide for site visits and meetings. • Experience working in a fast-paced, matrixed organization. • Commitment to safety and quality standards.
