📋 Description

• Provide technical, client, and business-line support to the Americas region and global business line • Support technical services, strategy, new product development, global processes, capacity planning, and technical governance • Seek opportunities for new products and revenue through service expansion, new service development, and customer inquiries • Monitor, develop, and manage technical aspects of globally executed regulatory services for Americas customers • Maintain awareness of industry best practices and standards and provide technical insight, interpretations, and recommendations • Respond to technical questions from the Tech Inquiry Mailbox accurately and within target turnaround times • Draft and develop SOPs, methods, work instructions, and standard interpretation practices • Develop and conduct technical training for internal and external audiences in the Americas • Understand client needs and match them to Bureau Veritas testing offerings • Monitor customer inquiries and identify potential new services and market opportunities • Monitor regulatory and industry-standard changes and update or develop testing methodologies • Resolve technical issues involving regional sites and clients • Participate in global processes and continuous improvement • Improve client satisfaction with Lab Managers/Directors and Business Development teams • Support client projects, regulatory interpretations, knowledge-product sales, technical marketing content, RFPs, new-service implementation, testing methodology adherence, audits, complaint investigations, and regional capacity planning

🎯 Requirements

• Extensive knowledge of applicable Hardlines, Toys and Juvenile Products technical expertise, concepts, processes, and equipment • Ability to work with customers, determine requirements, secure additional business, define and assist in solving problems, and ensure customer satisfaction • Ability to work under pressure, handle crisis situations, and balance several tasks simultaneously • Highly developed organizational and interpersonal skills; ability to work independently and in a team environment • Ability to interpret regulations and standards • Strong math skills and working knowledge of statistical procedures • Medium to high proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Lotus Notes, and statistical packages • Familiarity with laboratory instrumentation and equipment • Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills • Technical aptitude and ability to assimilate and assess new information and develop plans • Ability to prioritize and perform required follow-up • Ability to travel up to 20% in the USA, with limited international travel • Bachelor's degree in a related field required; Master's degree a plus • Minimum of 5 years' experience with customer services and/or direct customer interface • 2–3 years of relevant experience in the assigned service line or related discipline required
