📋 Description

• Develop, configure, code, test and debug complex new software • Enhance existing proprietary software and purchased software packages • Prepare technical specifications, designs and user stories • Write high-quality code according to requirements • Address system defects and implement enhancements • Troubleshoot issues, identify data-workflow bottlenecks and provide scalable solutions • Participate in defining application scope and objectives through research and fact finding • Provide escalated IT support and resolve open issues • Perform code reviews and follow-up actions • Follow company System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) policies and practices • Maintain vendor relationships to resolve problems and coordinate IT product and service delivery • Attend and participate in Agile ceremonies • Design and document the company’s application software environment • Provide guidance and training to less experienced programmer/analysts • Lead high-complexity application development projects • Perform other job-related duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Experience with Java, Java Script, Angular and other object-oriented languages • Demonstrated experience working with a team using Agile methodologies and ceremonies • Experience working with FTP, FTP encryption and secure FTP communications • Experience working with complex systems integrated with multiple hybrid applications, including Oracle, Salesforce and AWS • 10+ years working with static and dynamic SQL, Data Queues, Journals, Journal Receivers, Triggers, Functions and Data Management on the IBMi space • Experience with CL, RPG, SQLRPG, DB2 and RPG Free • Experience with Stored Procedures, RDi, RDP, ACS, VS Code or other graphical software development tools • Experience writing free-form SQL statements in large databases • Experience with analysis tools such as X-Analysis, Hawkeye and Abstract • Familiarity with tuning complex queries using Visual Explain and other IBM tools • Advanced knowledge of IBMi Work Management, including job queues, subsystems and interactive/batch debugging • Familiarity with current IBMi operating systems, including V7R4 and V7R5 • Availability to work during Arizona business hours
