📋 Description

• Develop, enhance, and maintain cloud-hosted applications • Implement and manage REST APIs and backend services using Spring Boot and Java • Develop user interfaces using JSP, Knockout, and jQuery • Perform database design, development, and optimization using Oracle DB • Apply Eclipse Link JPA for data persistence • Manage version control using Subversion (SVN) • Utilize JWT and YAML for secure data handling and configuration management • Write and maintain Shell and PowerShell scripts for automation and operational tasks • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align with business goals and technical requirements • Participate in Agile ceremonies and continuous improvement initiatives • Interact with functional resources and explain complex technical concepts • Support seamless production deployments and application modernization • Occasional travel to support business needs

🎯 Requirements

• University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience • 5 years of experience with REST API design and implementation • 4 years of experience with JavaScript frameworks, including JSP, Knockout, and jQuery • 3 years of experience working with Oracle DB and Eclipse Link JPA • Scripting experience with Shell and PowerShell • Experience in Spring Boot and Java development • Proficiency in Subversion (SVN) • Experience with JWT and YAML for secure data handling and configuration • Ability to interact with functional resources and explain complex technical concepts in a business-like manner • U.S. citizenship is required • Occasional travel may be required • Preferred: experience with MAVEN, SOLR/Lucene, Maria DB, JUnit, Angular, Git, and GitHub Actions • Preferred: familiarity with browser security concepts and best practices
