📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain software applications, systems, and solutions related to insurance products, processes, and services • Design and implement scalable, reliable software architecture aligned with business objectives and technical requirements • Analyze technical requirements, identify areas for improvement, and propose solutions to improve software efficiency, performance, and reliability • Collaborate with business analysts, actuaries, underwriters, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and define technical solutions • Communicate project status and updates effectively • Document software designs, technical specifications, and development processes • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, security protocols, and data privacy regulations • Integrate software systems, platforms, and third-party services for policy management, underwriting, claims processing, and customer relationship management • Develop and execute test plans and conduct automated and manual testing • Provide ongoing support and maintenance for existing insurance operations software applications and systems • Stay updated on industry best practices, emerging technologies, and insurance-related regulatory changes

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred • Software Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Technology preferred • Any other related discipline or commensurate work experience considered • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Software Development with a Bachelor’s degree, or 3 years with a Master’s degree • CSSLP, PSDC, or CSE certification is a plus • Knowledge of insurance products, processes, and services • Knowledge of software architecture, scalable and reliable systems • Experience with technical requirements analysis and software system improvement • Experience collaborating with business analysts, actuaries, underwriters, and other stakeholders • Knowledge of regulatory standards, security protocols, and data privacy regulations • Experience integrating software systems, platforms, and third-party services • Experience developing test plans and conducting automated and manual testing
