📋 Description

• Develop and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance backend APIs and services • Design and evolve backend services and REST APIs, focusing on availability, performance, and security • Participate in architecture discussions and technical decisions, including event-driven, hexagonal, and domain-driven architecture • Implement and maintain security standards such as OAuth 2.0/OpenID Connect, mTLS, and JWT • Conduct code reviews and uphold coding, testing, and OpenAPI/Swagger documentation standards • Monitor and optimize performance through profiling, query tuning, caching, and concurrency • Implement observability through structured logs, metrics, and distributed tracing • Respond to incidents • Collaborate with Product, QA, SRE/Cloud, and Support teams • Anticipate risks and propose mitigation strategies • Serve as a technical reference, supporting less experienced developers and promoting best practices • Solve complex problems with clean, testable, and maintainable code

🎯 Requirements

• Solid backend development experience with Java, preferably Java 17+ • Knowledge of OOP and SOLID principles • Experience with Spring Boot and hexagonal architecture • Knowledge of event-driven architecture, such as SNS/SQS and domain events • Experience with RESTful APIs and OpenAPI/Swagger documentation • Knowledge of Maven or Gradle for builds and dependency management • Hands-on experience with AWS SNS, SQS, RDS, S3, CloudWatch, ECR, and DocumentDB/MongoDB • Experience with Docker/docker-compose • Familiarity with Kubernetes, including basic manifests, deployments, services, and troubleshooting with kubectl • Knowledge of observability, including logs, metrics, and tracing • Experience with relational and non-relational databases, data modeling, and queries • Knowledge of CI/CD and Agile methodologies, including branching, pipelines, pull requests, and feature flags • Knowledge of application security, including OWASP ASVS/Top 10, JWT/JWS, mTLS, and secrets management best practices • Experience working in mission-critical and high-availability environments • Experience with Identity and Access Management using Keycloak or an equivalent platform • Production experience with OAuth 2.0/OpenID Connect • Nice to have: deep expertise in Keycloak and OAuth 2.0; Prometheus, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry; profiling, k6/JMeter, and JVM tuning; Helm; Terraform; JavaScript/TypeScript; participation in communities, events, or open-source projects; technical leadership and mentoring
