📋 Description

• Write, test, and maintain clean, efficient, and scalable Python code for health-related software projects. • Implement backend services, APIs, and integrations with healthcare platforms such as EHR/EMR systems. • Collaborate with senior developers and team members to troubleshoot and debug code. • Develop and optimize database interactions with Snowflake, PostgreSQL, MySQL, and MongoDB. • Write queries and ensure proper data manipulation, retrieval, and storage. • Perform data validation and ensure data integrity and consistency. • Assist in designing and building RESTful APIs for healthcare-system data exchange. • Perform unit testing, integration testing, and code reviews. • Implement test automation scripts to maintain application reliability and performance. • Debug issues and fix bugs across development and production environments. • Collaborate with product managers, senior engineers, and quality assurance teams to deliver solutions meeting business and customer requirements. • Document code, workflows, and best practices. • Stay updated on Python programming and healthcare IT tools, technologies, and best practices. • Seek feedback and mentorship to improve technical skills and coding practices.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. • 2+ years of professional Python programming experience. • Proficiency with Python, including experience with PySpark, Pandas, NumPy, Polars, or similar frameworks. • Basic understanding of database management and querying using SQL and/or NoSQL databases such as Snowflake, PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB. • Familiarity with Git for collaborative development workflows. • Experience using Agile methodologies (SAFe, Scrum), JIRA, and other tools to plan Sprints and track changes and testing. • Experience writing and executing unit and integration tests. • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with attention to detail. • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate across multiple disciplines. • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and healthcare compliance requirements. • Strong communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts clearly and concisely. • Experience in federal consulting preferred. • Demonstrated experience with healthcare data projects or financial/banking systems preferred. • Awareness of healthcare domain challenges, including HIPAA compliance, preferred. • Knowledge of Docker and cloud environments such as AWS or Azure preferred.
