📋 Description

• Support enhancements and new capabilities for an existing critical business application within the Claims portfolio • Perform systems analysis for various product initiatives • Build a backlog of systems requirements assignable to developers • Ensure reviews of requirements, design, and code • Help plan SIT and UAT testing and releases • Work closely with business analysts, business owners, QA, application architects, developers, product managers, project managers, and other team members • Support application operations by addressing operational, production, and ad-hoc requests • Apply current and emerging technologies to business application solutions, integrations, and data movement with distributed applications • Create detailed designs and resolutions for operational and production incident support

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor Degree and 4 years Information Technology OR Technical Certification and/or College Courses and 6 year Information Technology experience OR 8 years Information Technology experience • Knowledge of application configuration • Knowledge or experience of Claims processing and Components • Knowledge of Big Data Analytics - HAVeN / HADOOP/ Autonomy / Vertica • Knowledge of Cloud computing / SaaS / IaaS / PaaS technologies • Knowledge of Integration Technologies - Tibco/Informatica/CAS • Knowledge of Mobile technologies - Phonegap / iOS / Android / Java / HTML5 • Knowledge of Scripting Languages - BASH / PERL / PYTHON / RUBY • Service Oriented Architecture - SOAP / REST • Web Technologies - HTML/CSS/Java/ASP.Net/PHP/Ruby/C# • Rapid prototyping • Requirements definition & management • SDLC Methodology - Agile / Scrum / Iterative Development • System Performance management • Conceptual thinking • Creative thinking • Problem solving and analytical thinking • Strong oral/written communication skills • Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology related preferred • Solid knowledge of current and emerging technologies for business application solutions, integrations, and data movement with existing distributed applications • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment and work effectively through change • Exposure to data integration, data mapping & transformation needs with distributed applications • Ability to create detail design and resolution to operational / production incident resolution support against tight timeframe • Knowledge in application development platforms and/or languages (Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, and Microservices) • Knowledge of Jira, Jenkins, GitHub, Sonar and Java applications • Teamwork and collaboration • Deep systems analysis, app development with SDLC in agile framework with data & integration experience on modern application development platform • Sponsorship is not available, including for candidates currently on OPT
