📋 Description

• Design, develop, test, and maintain software systems that ingest and process real-time and recorded audio/video streams • Build and evolve scalable, reliable, performant, low-latency media pipelines • Design systems that capture, process, and prepare audio and video streams for downstream analysis • Provide technical leadership and guidance through code reviews, architecture decisions, and mentoring • Contribute to distributed-system architecture supporting high-throughput media ingestion and processing • Define patterns for real-time and asynchronous media workflows • Analyze complex technical problems and recommend improvements and optimizations • Implement and advocate testing and quality-assurance best practices • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback • Apply emerging technologies, tools, and programming languages where relevant • Ensure software meets security standards and compliance requirements and address vulnerabilities

🎯 Requirements

• Experience with real-time communication systems, including VoIP, SIP, RTP, or WebRTC • Experience with audio and/or video processing pipelines, codecs, or streaming technologies • Experience building and operating micro-services and REST/gRPC APIs • Familiarity with observability tooling, including metrics, logging, and tracing • Experience debugging distributed systems • Experience with security best practices and compliance requirements in cloud environments • Experience with Infrastructure as Code, including Terraform/CDK • DevOps experience, including CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins/GitHub Actions • Experience managing applications in Kubernetes • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Technical leadership, project leadership, and mentorship capabilities
