📋 Description

• Support a web-based application for safety oversight of commercial air carriers by managing analysis of safety incidents, operations, maintenance, and service quality • Work as part of a cross-functional, Agile development team with a DoD customer • Develop code supporting front-end functionality • Expose SOAP and REST web services to various applications • Exchange data with other systems to share results • Work with lead developers to solve complex problems • Develop software in interactive design, build, and test cycles • Support the Agile methodology • Check code into the continuous integration pipeline for incremental system builds and immediate build-performance feedback • Write unit tests and automate integration tests

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field • 3+ years of Java Development experience • Experience in implementing code • Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a US Security Clearance • Solid understanding of object-oriented programming languages, especially Java • Ability to work under general direction on complex projects, issues, and problems • Strong innovative and analytical abilities, and experience in implementation • Adaptability and willingness to learn new technologies • Experience working in a big data environment • Familiarity with Java • Familiarity with relational data models • Familiarity with Spring Boot and SpringMVC • Familiarity with SOAP and REST web services • Familiarity with GIT, Maven, and Jenkins • Experience with Oracle and/or Amazon RDS for Oracle is a plus
